Call for submissions!

There are still a few days left to apply to show your work at the Sunlight Centre in Gillingham, Kent, as part of the Medway Open studios in July. Heres how:

The Sunlight Centre in Gillingham are looking for artists to take part in the Medway Open Studios event from 18th -26th July 2015.

This would be a great chance for local artists to take part in the event. Any media considered including, video, sculpture, textile, photography, mixed media etc.

The venue has toilets, ethical cafe and free parking nearby and open hours will be substantial and staffed by Sunlight staff. Also planned is an open evening to which local media will be invited. The event will also be promoted by the Sunlight radio station.

This will be the only venue in Gillingham taking part in the Medway Open studios. Commission on sales is only 10% and will go toward the Sunlight’s work with local people with longstanding health and social inequalities.

To apply please email 6 images of your work, a CV and an artists statement to info@sunlighttrust.org.uk Deadline for submissions is midnight on the 28th May 2015.

If successful you will be notified the following week. All work must then be dropped off at the centre by Saturday 11th July complete with hanging instructions. and collected at the end.
